DA Welcomes Eight New Members to the Athletic Hall of Fame

On December 1st, eight superstar Durham Academy alumni received the highest athletic honor, being inducted into the hall of fame. The class of 2017 was a storied one, consisting of runners Conrad Hall ’89 and Marshall Moore ’92, tri-sport athletes Hunter Henry ’97 and Phil Pearce ’77, track and volleyball standout Sherry Bartholomew Holtzclaw ’78, soccer goalkeeper and basketball letterwinner Kelsey Kearney ’08, legendary coach and PE teacher Greg Murray, and all-time leading field hockey scorer Christine Suggs ’05. The class was honored at halftime of the boys basketball game against Charlotte Latin. Accomplishments of the class are listed below.
