columnist class of 2017
Zoe Pharo is a junior who really enjoys both good humor and good writing. You can find her usually playing tennis or soccer, walking her dog, writing background guides for Model UN, playing ping pong, practicing piano, perfecting her Spotify playlist, watching New Girl, or sleeping. She wishes that she were better at both cooking (she has burned many things) and keeping her room clean. Her favorite restaurant is Elmo’s and she loves trying new foods as long as she can’t identify the ingredients. Her parents are health food nuts, so everything she brings for lunch is labeled organic. She loves people-watching. Therefore, she recommends coming up with life stories for people in the airport. As an only child of two psychologists, she would be happy to diagnose you at any time. However, she basically has a sibling, as her dog seems to have become her younger sister. Zoe cannot answer the question “What is your favorite subject?” because she enjoys so many different subjects. However, she is interested in neuroscience and has vowed that she will never become a psychologist. All she knows is that she definitely wants to have a job where she is moving around, because she can’t imagine sitting still all day. In the future, Zoe would like to live in a cold climate (because she loves wearing sweaters and going out in the snow) in a small cabin with many word jumbles on hand and a massive supply of hot chocolate.
