Zoe Boggs is a senior who has come to Durham Academy from Memphis, Tennessee; before that, she lived in Florida. Since eating and watching movies probably don’t count, her hobbies include running cross country and track, baking, debate team and contributing to Grrlpunch Magazine. You can often find her writing next to a large chocolatey drink at Caribou Coffee, or walking around Southpoint Mall trying not to buy things.

Zoe has loved writing ever since she learned how much beauty and power and truth words can contain. She’s honored to participate in The Green and White alongside many other (intimidatingly) talented student writers. Zoe is fascinated by society, people, and what makes them tick, so her favorite classes are AP Government and American Literature. As co-editor of the opinions section, she’s very excited to cover what makes Durham Academy tick and read about many different viewpoints. She hopes to be a journalist, editor, or political writer—if she manages to graduate high school first.

Zoe is grateful to The Green and White editors for everything they do, and to anyone who reads the newspaper!
